SMP - Sliding Mag Pick-up

The SMP (Sliding Mag Pick-up) was designed by Gold Tone to assure accurate reproduction of authenic banjo tone.

Installation is simple providing there is adequate space between the coordinator rod and head. Normally the 1/4" input jack is installed in the space between the second and third hook above the tailpiece. This location allows the cable to be easily inserted while the player is sitting down with the banjo.

• Fits between coordinator rod and back of banjo head
• May be positioned in a variety of locations for different tonal qualities (towards the bridge the treble will increase, towards the neck the bass will increase)
• Requires no pre-amp
• Feedback is not a problem
• It comes with the 1/4" input jack, wiring, tie wraps, spacers, backing plate and instructions.
